Columbus type filters

Product description

Columbus Industries as a result of ongoing research and many years of practice, has developed an air purification system that gives excellent results both in terms of particle retention capacity and versatility. The system is adapted to all currently used in the industry coatings applied by spraying while maintaining a very favorable value for money.

Retention rules for atomized paint particles

Developed by Columbus Industries filters utilize the principles of crash filter. They are made of multiple layers of non-flamable KRAFT paper, which has been notched and stretched. The individual layers are arranged so the flow through the filter was a maximum turbulent.

This increases the contact of particles with the filter compartments and consequently increasing its effectiveness. The individual filter layers are superimposed on each other so that the holes through which air passes were getting smaller. This causes a gradual increase in density and uniform deposition of particles in the whole volume of the filter. The individual layers of KRAFT paper are cut at different angles thereby increasing the contact surface of the dust filter, while allowing for continuous and free evaporation of the solvents.

Because of the large variety of paints and coatings in terms of their properties, Columbus Industries developed a filter EUROSUPRATM, a combination of collision filter as described above with an additional layer of synthetic fiber filter. This design allows for uniform distribution of the particles retained in the entire cross section of the filter. This feature significantly affect the growth of the life of the filter material, which in turn reduces the operating costs of installation.
