Cardboard filters are used to purify air in industrial paint shops. Pre-cardboard filters are used in combination with Paint-Stop filter fabrics located inside paint walls.

Cyclon filters, also known as cardboard or pleated filters, are characterized by many desirable features, such as high filtration efficiency, no dust migration from the upper layers to the lower ones, high dust absorption, long service life, high durability and a high ability to repel water molecules.

The operation of pleated cardboard filters is based on the use of centrifugal force. The air stream containing numerous paint particles is subjected to rapid changes in flow direction many times during its flow through the lamellar filter. This causes the particles to be selected from the air stream.
