Cyclone filters, also known as cardboard with fleece or pleated filters, are characterized by many desirable features such as:

• High filtration efficiency – depending on the type of contamination – from 91% - when filtering dust from two-component glue to 98.1% for powder contamination in solid state.
• High dust absorption ,
• No dust migration from the upper filter layers to the lower ones, as is the case when using glass fiber filters,
• Long service life ,
• Constant static resistance – static resistance increases very slowly in relation to the number of particles being captured. This causes two very desirable phenomena - the air flow near the painted elements is uniform and the painter works in a clean atmosphere all the time;
• High stiffness and durability – filters are made of 230g/ ^m2 pleated, rigid cardboard formed into an accordion structure obtained in the recycling process. Such a design provides the necessary stiffness and resistance to the suction effect,
• Easy to dispose of (unlike e.g. glass fibres),
• High ability to repel water molecules
• Increased ability to capture solid paint and varnish particles through the use of a filter mat permanently attached to the cardboard filter.
